GPU prices are brutal right now. Thanks to crypto mining. GPU mining fell off for a while but picked back up thanks to ethereum. Luckily the lower end and top end isn't that effected by the mining craze yet. But that leaves what used to be the best performance per dollar GPUs over priced. Hopefully the prices even back out or I can see this starting to effect all GPUs eventually. Than builds like this wont be worth it, and consoles will be killer.
yep. Although it won't effect all gpus. Its not worth it to go super low end or super high end. The one exception to that rule might be a 1080ti.
The reason I say it could effect the other GPUs is because of availability. When no one can buy best performance per dollar GPUs because that value is lost due to supply and demand (prices rise) or just cant find the GPUs all together. You are than forced to go low end or high end. When that happens prices could rise on all GPUs due to demand.
