I've absolutely loved the emergence of Lars Sullivan this year, and Velveteen has smacked it out the park. Asuka has been my wrestler of the year, not just in NXT, but WWE as a whole.
Lars has been interesting. He's the weakest worker in their top echelon, and his character is ill defined. Is he smart? Is he an unthinking brute who can't contain his rage? But he's a beast, so he's likely to get pushed to the moon on the main roster.
I'm so down with that entrance they've started using for him, the whole stage direction, shooting him low so he looks bigger. I know what you mean about weakest worker, but I love his matches. There seems to be a real sense of danger when he's in there.
