GET MARRIED SOON (preparation "only those who make ready make good things" 12)

Marriage should be an expression of personal love between the husband and wife, a desire to show a level of esteem and regard towards each other that they show towards no one else.

Adam first expressed this kind of personal love, when he exclaimed thus, and Adam said, this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called a woman because she was taken out of man.- Gen 2:23. (Adam in the Hebrew language means Ish and when he (Adam) saw the woman, he called her Ishah, meaning eve). This must have informed the instructions given in Eph 5:22-29, which is very personal, very particular to wives and husbands.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
