The definition of "Eid al-adha"
Eid al-Adha is an Islamic holiday in Indonesia. Outside of Indonesia, the Day of Sacrifice is known as Eid al-Adha. This holiday is oriented around honoring God and helping others.
Eid al-Adha is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhulhijjah month, last month in the Islamic Hijrah calendar. Eid al-Adha celebrates the pilgrimage to the pilgrimage site in Mecca. The Day of Sacrifice is based on the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his son.
The main event of Eid al-Adha is a great celebration where all members of the community are permitted to participate. Known as the Feast of Sacrifice, this food comes from the sacrifice of the Prophet Ibrahim's ram after Allah saved the life of Prophet Ishmael. In Eid al-Adha, every Muslim is expected to sacrifice their best pet (sheep / goat).
After the animal is sacrificed to God, its flesh will be divided into three parts. The first part is offered to the family members of the person who owns the animal. The second part is offered to distant relatives. The third and final sections are distributed to the poor in the nearest community.
In Eid-ul-Adha, community outreach programs ensure that all members of the community are fed. The Feast of Sacrifice is based on the 196th verse of the letter of Al-Baqoroh. This is a holiday that allows Indonesians to help other community members
