That clean, unclouded blue of the sky after days of rain...
The Spring warmth of the sunlight dappled by the shades of leaves and the chill lingering in the breeze, not wanting to let Winter go... not yet.
Its in these moments of stillness, looking around at the world in reach...
that I want to hear that voice, that chuckle.
That I want that twinge in my stomach when I read your messages, "Babe".
And all this stillness its been days ... weeks ... without your defenite presence ...anywhere.
Where I sit in peace... the only kind I know.
Your life hangs on the will and arms of dozens at war... between dust and thunder under clear, hot skies.
I wish you were here...
