Falling on a bicycle, cutting yourself with a knife or undergoing surgery are some of the events that can cause a wound, which depending on the size, can close in days or weeks. However, in some people this process takes longer than usual.

In addition to the general factors that make skin repair difficult, there are others that work locally that can make this process slower.
