Philadelphia Experiment

in #writing6 years ago

Philadelphia Experiment is the name given by the American ufologist Morris K. Jessup (1900-1959), to a supposed secret experiment carried out by the United States Navy in the naval shipyards of Philadelphia

The story tells that on October 28, 1943, at the shipyard of the City of Philadelphia in the United States.

An experiment aboard the escort class destroyer called the USS Eldridge, number DE-173.

To speak of the Philadelphia experiment is to speak of one of the greatest achievements of history, the disappearance of an entire ship.

A disappearance that was not only undetectable to the eye but also undetectable to the radar.

What is popularly known as the Philadelphia Experiment, alludes to an alleged dark program of the US Navy called Project Rainbow. The urban legend says that the military were testing a generator of electromagnetic fields with which they tried to find practical applications to the unified field theory proposed by Albert Einstein. Said in one sentence: they intended to achieve invisibility.

The equipment was readjusted and on October 28 the second test took place. This time, the entire ship disappeared completely and appeared at the naval base in Norfolk, 600 kilometers away and 15 minutes in the past.

With the technical and scientific help of characters of the stature of Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla among others, the ship was equipped with electronic and magnetic devices capable of generating an energy field in its structure and making it visually invisible trying to apply the unified field theory of the own Albert Einstein.

It was thought possible, with specialized equipment and sufficient energy, to bend the light around an object in such a way that it would become

essentially invisible to the eyes of the observers.

According to the legend the experiment was a great success but at a huge cost in human lives.

A green mist rose around the water line up and eventually enveloped the entire ship.

The "lightning" spoken of in the urban legend about the Philadelphia experiment can be something as simple as the discharge of ionized plasma known for some time as San Telmo fire.

As for the mysterious disappearance of the USS Elridge, Dudgeon explains that the origin of that part of the urban legend is due to an incident at the Norfolk base. Elridge went to the base to get supplies, but soon he released moorings and returned to Philadelphia, where he arrived in less than six hours. According to the navigation charts of the area, this crossing was impossible because it was necessary to take a long detour to avoid German submarines and minefields. In fact, the ship used the Chesapeake & Delaware channel, which allows the detour to the peninsula to be skipped.

Unfortunately, there were serious side effects to the crew aboard the ship when it reappeared.

Nobody expected what was going to happen:

Some were found molecularly mixed with the metal of the ship.

Two were found alive on deck with half body fused with metal

Others were left in the chimneys of the ship's boilers.
Some were wrapped in fire.

Others went crazy and walked aimlessly through the boat, the others simply disappeared.

That same day there was a report from a bar in which it was described that some soldiers had been chatting in that place:

That without knowing the reason began a fight between the sailors, but with a difference compared to other bar fights as the sailors appeared and disappeared, dissipated in the air before the customers, were there and had suddenly disappeared.

but let's think, this will be true or just a science fiction story or a dream of any person. Of course now in this new era, if you could do something similar, the particle teleportation, I was researching and discovered that you can teleport a quantum particle to a satellite 500 km high for the first time, but I will not do it. talk about that now, well to read and see my publication if you want me to talk about it and my opinion about transporting particles with pleasure I do

Sort:

incredible information, good atualmente with so much technology it would be possible to do something similar to that project
