Hola
Woke up pretty late but slept very good. Today I wanted to go to Moraira with the bus. Which is impossible. So I decided to take a swim in the pool. Which is always nice! After my lazy morning and swim in the pool. I took off to check out the centre of Benissa.
First of all, I tried de leche merenguada ice cream ! Which is actually pretty nice! It is a soft lemon flavour with a warm aftertaste because of the cinnamon. So it was a good recommendation from my uncle Hans. So tasted the ice-cream and had a coffee. And I started walking through the little narrow streets of Benissa.
Lots of white houses... some nicer as others... A lot of the streets had paintings on the floor. Flowers, skulls, shields, a lot of different things. I like this! I think they should do it everywhere. It looks joyful and must be fun to say I live in street white flowers on street.
Benissa has 3 churches in totally different styles, but not one of them was open to visit this time. Not that I mind just walking around. On some points in the city, you really had some nice views! After some more wandering of the streets, I went back to the main square. I went to sit in a cafeteria and had a tostada with tomato.
I also wanted to visit that church but it was in use for a funeral..so not a good time... So I started making my way back to Geert and Regina's. First I stopped at the store for bread and a bottle of wine.
Regina made vol au vent ! Hmmm, yummie one of my favourite dishes! And it was tasty! Really nice and kind that she made this! And we had a chocolate tarte dessert from the mercadona which was really nice! We watched some TV and had a chat it was a nice evening after a calm day :)
