He showed up, unexpected.
It was his job and he could not help it. He knew how they called him and he did not care about it since ages. It was clear envy and fear were the main reasons.
She was not afraid at all.
He did wonder why and he could not help visiting her. There he was standing and watching her as she was in bed. She was a strange creature to see, not what he was used to. Sometimes she was not asleep and looked at him without saying a word, smiled and fall asleep.
He could not help visting her, even following her.
She could not help feeling safe and loving him, because he was watching her. To her he was not the Beast but her dearest friend. A friend named The Death and she did not care because he is the most reliable person there is.
