Where Is The World Leading To
Life's getting more complicated. Friends ain't helping. Father is useless. Mother is powerless. Siblings care less. World is turning to a mess. Some churches are meaningless.
Wickedness in raping and kidnapping. Human trafficking in alarming rate. Cultism is now acceptable. Wealth earns more respect. Beauty is sexy. Marriage is nonsense. Lust is taken for love.
Corruption in politics. Killing in politics. Innocent citizens are used for rituals. Rank is all we seek. Deceit is a friend to us. Sex out of marriage is not a big deal. Stealing is normal. Fraud is intelligence.
We judge by skin. Forgetting that we have just a creator, who has created us all according to his image. We see others as inferior because of their poor background. We claim to live together but our hearts are divided.
We no longer care. We no longer love. Selfishness is the order of the day. Children are suffering. Ladies are fighting. Men are drinking. Youths are smoking. Adults are killing.
The world is crying. Our religious leaders care only about their congregation and not the world at large. Difficulties all the way. Depression making the moves. Attention is all we seek. Fame is the order of the day. Money is the lover of our soul.
Relationships are breaking. People are dying. Poor are getting poorer and rich getting richer. Hatred in our place of worships. We claim serving God but NO, we serve ourselves. Mourners keep mourning and no one to console.
People in terror. Faces aren't smiling. Many are smiling but suffering. Education is a mess. Music is polluted. Books are no longer helping. Parents are now our mates. Suicide is getting rampant. Love for God is getting cold. Love of God is based on our head knowledge and not as the spirit reveals to us.
Life is getting more complicated. You're the change. You're the solution.
Only when you stand that we can have a better world.
Someone once said be the change you want to see. In my country we have a saying, change starts with you.
