How self-aware are you? Are you a real being? I think I might have a test for that...

I want to try an exercise with you.

Become aware of your mind. What are your thoughts? Your memories, your ideas, your contemplations, your expectations, all the concepts that you are holding onto, remove them all, one by one … until your mind is fully blank.

Then, become aware of your emotions. What are you feeling? Bring your full spectrum of feelings to the surface, and then, one by one, let them go. Remove them completely, until your chest, your gut, your heart can enter a state of suspension, of rest, a state of full neutrality and non-reaction. A deep stillness.

And then, become aware of your body. Feel into your own physicality, every inch of your body, feel into your fingers, your abdomen, your feet, all of it, and feel the sensations, the reflexes, what is warm, what is cold, what is tingling … and let it all go. Picture for a moment that you are stepping outside of your anatomy, as if removing a suit.

What is left? What remains when you remove your entire identity? All that you are here and know yourself to be?

Can you truly go into that space and let yourself experience it …let yourself fully fall into the nothingness that resides outside the layers that make you you, and see if you can still find something in there? Is the nothingness truly a blank nothingness, or is there still substance within it? Allow this still and silent state of being to sink in….and see if you can still connect to an aspect of you that resides beyond thoughts, beyond feelings, beyond body.

Is there any awareness in there? And most importantly, any sense of self-awareness? Of self-actualization? A true sense of something that is still of you, but exists outside the boundaries of our current perception?

Something so subtle, so gentle, and yet so profound. It’s beyond language, beyond any forms of expression, beyond comprehension. It’s a self-awareness that is situated behind life here as we know it … a you that you can’t see, hear, or feel, but you know it’s there, lurking in the background, somehow holding all that you are together. An aspect of you that is of you, but not bound to the limits of you.

Some may perceive this layer of the self to be the soul, the spirit, or energy. I call it ‘core essence’. The most sacred part of us, that resides at the center of our being, animating this entire experience. Animating the body, the mind, the feelings.
True home. Source.

A divine place of infinite self-potential, of infinite capacity to create, infinite desire to experience, no boundaries. Just pure freedom, the true meaning of sovereignty. This is the absolute sovereign-self. Bound to no beginning, to no end, constrained by no limitations of experience, and no limitations of imagination. An absolute state of being, from where all creation departs, and back into which all creation returns. An internal state of self, where the only awareness is that of I AM.

Are you able to feel the I AM state? To feel all that you are, when you are, paradoxically, nothing?

Please hold onto this space within yourself for a moment. Feel your own sovereign and limitless nature. Feel your infinite creative potential. Feel this sacred essence. Feel home. Truly dive deep into it, and familiarize yourself with it. Nurture the start of a true connection to it. Nurture your sense of home.

Because of how limited we are in our current form here, our limitless self can feel so inaccessible at times. Untouchable. Out of reach. The more limited we are basically in our expression, such as we are here on Earth, the more difficult it is to connect to the internal limitless aspect. The trauma of extreme constrictions in the way we create, or experience life, can alienate us, and make us feel quite small and insignificant by contrast to what lays within us. This is perhaps why so many of us, in our pursuit to understand the I AM better, detach from the I AM, and often treat it as something external to us. Separate from us. Religion, spirituality, mythology, theology, superstition, etc. are all symptoms of our insatiable need to relate to the I AM, to reach it, to be part of it. We forgot that ‘God’ is within us. That ‘home’ is also within. That the entirety of our answers can only be found within.

Common sense dictates that our quests, instead of being external, should, before anything else, be internal. This time-less and form-less force that animates each one of us, this boundless truth, is after all, at the core of our being. Our inner-self is truly the closest point of reference to the true essence of life. What could we understand better than our own homes? What can we possibly know better than our own selves?

What better way to learn the AM, if not through the I?

It starts with the I AM, and then we can move into the external, and understand what lays behind the I AM. The I AM NOT.

I want to try another exercise with you now.

Remove your thoughts, your feelings, and your physical sense of self. Move into your essence. Into the stillness of I AM. Move back within your true home.

From there, I want you to please look at yourself. At your body here, your abilities, your capacities in this life. Feel into all that you can do and can’t do. Into your freedoms and limitations. How do you feel? Constrained? Confined? Or do you feel free?

I imagine you feel very limited. After all, we, humans, feel hunger, thirst, we need air to survive, we get injured, we get ill, we can’t fly, we can’t bilocate, we can’t be in multiple places at once, we can’t talk to animals, we can’t hear each other, we can’t traverse the cosmos at will … our immense capacity to create, to imagine, is not expressed to its full potential here, quite the contrary, our current embodiment is in many ways a prison of our infinite imagination. Our essence is very suffocated by the strict boundaries of our ability to manifest outside of ourselves.

Now go one step further.

Perceive the limitations of this planet. Life takes life to exist. Life without death is impossible. Animals, trees, plants, they are all fighting for survival with one another. We are consuming each other. Our seasons, our weather, the number of species, or colors in nature, our movement through space, our dialogue with the planetary body itself, these are all confined within rigid boundaries. The tight constrains of life here are quite suffocating from a planetary level.

Allow your imagination to now push even further. Address the limitations of the universe as we know it. Even if you had extraordinary abilities, and lived on a planet that could accommodate the entirety of your imagination, would that be enough to allow you to be fully free, or would there still be some limitations even a layer above that? Look at the cosmos and the way in which it works, and feel its own boundaries. The boundaries of space and time. Of vibration, frequency, sound, light. Of fractals. Movement. Gravity. Expansion, contraction. Everything always pulls something else towards it, and the larger the mass, the greater the pull. There is a mechanism. Moons revolve around planets. Planets revolve around stars. In rather fixed orbits. Galaxies pull at each other and collide. Black holes pull. There are certain natural laws that control everything. Constants.

After all, we could choose to create in an expression that isn’t based on sound, or light, or frequency. It could be something completely different. Outside all known natural laws. This would be the meaning of sovereignty, wouldn’t it? When we can create as far as our imagination can go.

So, are we ever fully sovereign when we are within this universe? Or are we just partially sovereign, as allowed by the limits of this expression.

If your imaginations can push past the confinements of this universe, it means that you go beyond what we consider creation. Your home goes deeper than any construct of light. Or sound, or frequency. The true I AM, is outside all of that.
The true I AM goes beyond all constructs. An internal state of being where everything is possible all at once. Where everything exists all at once. A point of infinite potential to imagine. A point where imagination is free. Never ending. Unlimited.
This is the true depth of the I AM. The true depth of sovereignty. A space that goes beyond not only body, thoughts and feelings, but also beyond planets, galaxies and universes. A space truly beyond all known creation. The I AM of non-creation. The point where creation itself begins.

Your very imagination is literally proof that you hold something of yourself that goes far beyond this universe. Your imagination is your link to the I AM. To source. To sovereignty. It’s the compass that lets you know where home is. When any kind of boundaries exist, you know you are not yet home. Only when your full internal and external expression is a true reflection of your never-ending imagination, do you know you are truly home. Truly within sovereignty. Truly within the sacred.

This is what we are in our original absolute state. Pure imagination. Pure potential. Potential for absolutely everything and nothing at once. A supreme stillness and the most complex dance at the same time. No beginning, no ending. The true meaning of eternity. All potentials in one singularity.

Now one last exercise.

Have you ever connected in this life with another being that felt real to you? They felt truly like their own independent being, with their own individual depth? You could recognize the same potential for imagination, and yet, you could feel a different flavor in them, in their essence. A different aroma. An equal to you in all ways, and yet unique.
A being who doesn’t only reflect back at you an aspect of yourself, but a being who actually shines their own inner selves out. A being that you can see beyond your own reflection. An original, who imagines for themselves. An authentic being. Sovereign. With their own dance, their own beat.

A being who exists outside of yourself. A creator in their own right, not just a replica of something that already exists within you.

When you meet somebody outside of yourself at that depth, you know that the I AM is not alone in existence. That your own imagination is not the only one. That all is not ONE. But instead that there are individual potentials to imagine, independent from each other, and yet so interconnected. Other beings, who dance to the same music, but in their own style. Other I AMs.

It’s not that we are all one, but simply that life itself (the music) brings us together into oneness. Life is the common thread that connects us, that connects our powers to imagine. Whether it is at this level, or at a different level. Whether in this universe, or beyond it. As above, so below. Life (music) is the tool that allows us to experience our individuality in relationship to others. To experience our creation in relationship to other creations. Life is the ocean that holds all the individual drops of water together into one experience. The ocean that holds all the I AMs into oneness: WE ARE.
Without life (the music), we still exist, but just in a different internal unique way.

Conclusions

  • If you have the imagination to go beyond your body, beyond this planet, beyond this universe, beyond vibration/frequency, and you also have the capacity to go beyond oneness, and understand truly how sacred life is for allowing the aspect of oneness/sharing to occur, then you are an incredibly aware and self-actualized being, on a multitude of levels. I would truly honor the experience of knowing you, and I hope you could introduce yourself. What a potent sharing that could be. Nothing to take, nothing to give. Just sacred co-existence. Sacred sharing of life. I hope with all my being to meet more of you.

  • If you have the imagination to go beyond any known constructs, but haven’t experienced your own individuality, your own true sense of self, separate from other beings, and haven’t experienced yourself beyond life itself (oneness), then I suspect one of two things is accurate. You either have never been in the presence of another fully self-realized being, or you have not balanced your ability to look outside of yourself.
You might have forgotten that life is a tool that we use for sharing, for balanced give and take, for sacred mutual relationships. For understanding, knowing one another. For truly seeing each other. Listening to each other. You might have disconnected from the sacred aspect of co-creation, of co-existence. Of truly seeing another being. You could be trapped within the walls of your own self-reflecting prison, where everything is about ME. A distorted version of the I AM. The true I AM never forgets about YOU ARE. Or about WE ARE. While at the same time, never forgetting about itself.
The authentic I AM is independent but at the same time in full honor of all other beings around it. It fully respects how any other being chooses to use the tool of life, and expects all other beings to also respect its choice of creating with life. And if two genuine beings choose to share the expression of life, they only do so through agreements every step of the way. A beautiful dance of respecting each other’s boundaries. Each other’s taste of imagination.
If you are in a place where you know you exist, and know the depth of your being, but haven’t noticed the depth of another because you are too lost within yourself, then you still need to allow some healing to come through.

  • And finally, if you can’t imagine outside the boundaries of this universe, or outside of the boundaries of the multi-verse for that matter, then you are either in a dormant state, where you have completely shut down your imagination, and you have a lot of practice ahead of yourself in terms of re-activating that; or, I’m afraid, you are not a creator being, but simply a split aspect of a being, that wished to experience itself in a limited, disconnected manner. An aspect that has a beginning and an ending, and will eventually return back within the higher self in order to be whole again. Most of the beings in this category, I imagine would not be on this page, able to follow this far though. And if they were, they would most likely have no ability to connect to any sense of home, to any true sense of limitless imagination, to any sense of sovereignty within. To anything that is sacred inside them. The sacred would always be outside of themselves, as something to return to (am explanation perhaps on why external authority - governments, religion for example - works so well on so many).

In the coming articles I will go into further depth about the nature of our existence, of our story, the true meaning of sacred sharing, and the healing that we must allow before we can fully remember ourselves again. Before we can use our own imagination freely once again, and feel the connection to our home.
