this was enjoyable! wanted to hear more about the court case! will there be more publications? hehe congrats on the curie!
Thanks, @mountainjewel! Yeah, careful what you wish for - I have at least 7 to 8 chapters fully edited, and (I think) another 12 or so that need fixin' up before going out in public. I've toyed with the idea of putting them here on Steemit for ages, and finally got a nudge yesterday. I may end up inflicting them all on you very soon! LOL! And thanks so much for dropping in with a comment - much appreciated!

hahaha ^^ i'll be looking forward to them!
I'm so happy you posted a chapter from one of your many novels! This was fun to read. You work conversation very well :) I love how you threw Gloucester in there! I spent all my childhood summers in Gloucester/Rockport! such a beautiful area <3 I hope you'll post the next chapter ;-)
Thanks so mu... wait, what? You spent your summers where? Holy cannoli, Batman - small world! I actually grew up in Magnolia, and as an adult lived in Gloucester & Rockport too (long story, but hubby & I moved around quite a bit... hey, maybe that should be a post someday...LOL).
Okay, back to the rest of your comment - thanks so much for the compliment! This is only the first half of chapter one - I'll probably post the second half soon, then maybe a few more chapters. Appreciate your kind words, dear girl!
You're welcome! I'll be looking forward to reading more :)
-Yup my grandmother had a beach house on Long Beach so I spent most of my summers until I was about 13 out there - plus fiesta every year, gotta watch the greasy pole! lol
I've moved quite a bit myself - definitely make it into a post! Maybe one day I'll make my story into a post - or a novel hahah
Freaking unreal! Viva Saint Peter! And we were practically neighbors - well, except I'm so old that I was probably long across the cut bridge before you started hanging at your grandmother's. You should definitely write a
novelpost about your story! 😂omg lolol the cut bridge! I remember back in the day it used to be taken away in the fall but they built a "real" bridge there some years and I was so disappointed lol its just not as cool
Yep, I remember that temporary permanent bridge - it was awful! Although I have a love/hate relationship with the cut bridge - can't even tell you how many times it's shown up in my dreams over the years. And you'll be happy to know, it's back to its old self, and holds up car traffic year round so the boats can get in and out of the harbor (or should I say, haabah - lol!).
Took me a while but I made it to this post !!!
Upvoted and going for the next one - very captivating !!!! :D
Thank you, @meanmommy33! 😍
