Self Worth
Oh! Where's my face?
Or have lost it with the mask that covered my race?
My heart is panting
And my pulse keeps rising
My hands are fidgeting
Like a car that is jerking
Or is it my legs that hurts
Like a man who is running from being hunted.
I can't even feel my body, is this another fever?
Or am just hallucinating like a sea urchin in a river?
Oh! I've lost control of my body
I lost my face because of my race
My hands are fidgeting because I soiled it up with evil
Never knew it'll come back to me with a bang
Like a singing boomerang
All in the name of desperate seeking of greener pasture
Or is it my legs that hurts out of tiredness of running from being hunted.
My pulse keeps rising
Because my heart won't stop panting.
What calamity
Have I brought upon myself
And my community
The love for fame and to be celebrated has blinded me from where I came from.
Out of desperation
Am now a fugitive
Without a destination.
I've lost my SELF WORTH
A glorious child, a King, a priest with dominion
Now a child of rebellion
Why me?
We may never realize
Who we are
What we are and
How much power we carry
Until we become victim of circumstances.
Its never too late, realize it now and your SELF WORTH won't turn out to be SELF INFLICTED.
