@mehdibca, This is the story of Espirit and how a COLLISION tried to break her SPIRIT.

Espirit was a brand Mini Bulk carrier built at a shipyard at Goa, India and was ready to be delivered to her owners in Europe. She anchored in river whilst final preparation of handing over ceremony was getting ready.

The villain in the form of a Barge passing by arrives at the scene.

We don't know exactly what transpired between them. But apparently there was a COLLISION between the 2 vessels and the brand new ESPIRIT suffered damages to her hull.

Now being a new vessel she could not be delivered as it is right?
So all the handing over ceremony was put on hold and surveyors boarded the vessel.

identified the damage and the repair works were ordered.

Repair works took some 15 days as it required the entire plate to be cut open and re fabricated with a new steel place. some machinery were also affected by this collision.
Finally all is well. ESPIRIT is back and seaworthy.

She looks like a new bride now :)

Vessel owners are very happy. Handing over ceremony done and she sets sail to her new home in Europe.

Thus ends the story of ESPIRIT whose maiden voyage was marred by a COLLISION, but being a strong lady she was, she braved it well and set out with her new owners like a bride going to her grooms home.
