RE: How to Control a Human World in 3 Easy Steps

in #writing7 years ago

It definitely seem like there was a concerted effort to erase our human origins, and without familiar ties with our past, many will accept the most official-sounding version, or the version of our past that is accepted by the religion of the area.

I think too that this creates a sort of parental abandonment issue for humanity-- we don't know who our parents are, so we try to form a proxy parent in the form of a strong .gov or religious pillar to give protection and care to us orphans.

Many accept the most official-sounding because it's the most convenient to hear. And yeah, I think you're on to something there. Since we don't know our true origin, we seek refuge under structures of our own making. Everything trickles down to more contemporary depictions, like a recursive pattern.

The origins concept is one that I got from Mark Passio, he suggests that the parental abandonment that our species feels will appear in the assigned parental features in the world such as a government. Within that structure will be those who may feel like a parental figure is missing from their lives, so that the 'mother' will appear in the form of social programs that might feed and nurture, while for others a 'father' figure is needed, showing as a powerful defensive force for protection, and a strong financial structure for security. Pretty interesting how these ancient psychologies can be applied to a mass of people with such predictable results.

Makes you think that everything is already mapped out and we're just switching things up and giving things a fresh coat of paint. Definitely interesting study! Will look into it more.
