Help Our Children be more Creative in Writing

Writing is one of the four language skills which should be mastered by anyone, including children who are still studying at schools. Writing is very important for everyone. Writing is not a hobby, but writing is a need of everyone. By mastering writing skill, someone can build his or her life, because writing activity can make money for life. Writing activity can be done by everyone as far as he or she wants to do it.

We can see and learn the experience of writers around us or even some writers in the world who have been successful in writing essays, articles or even books. They have written many books and published them. Many writers can reach their achievements to be best sellers. So, by being the best seller writers, the money flows to their bank accounts. It is very interesting and prospective, isn't it?

Sure, it is very interesting and prospective for anyone who may want to be the best seller writers, but not for anyone who is lazy to write. Only creative people can see the important of writing and keep writing. Not many people realize that writing can make or change our life. Therefore we need to inform and even raise their awareness in this issue.

We can give them some examples of the successful writers like the writer of the books entitled " Harry Potters etc. we can also tell them that there are so many famous writers such as Harold Robbin, etc. we can also show them there are many bestseller books and writers in Indonesia. All of these can be as the motivation for students and children at schools. It is important since writing is still as a big problem in our society in Indonesia. Many people, educators and students feel that writing is difficult. When we ask or invite them to write, they will always say that they can not write. Actually, not because they can't, but they don't want. If they want, they can write.

Now, we can see the capacities of university students in writing. Actually all University students must be able to write, at least writing papers and thesis. Unfortunately, most University students still habe big problems with writing.
As we ever read or heard the news or may be when we were as students at university we found so many university students were not able to write and they tended to ask other people to write for them.

Bases of this condition we have to anticipate the bad conditions which may happen again in the future. Therefore parents or elementary shools teachers should be able to motivate children to be more creative in writing in the early ages. Anak Cerdas magazine which concerns on building children's creative thinking and writing, it has come to schools to help children to be more creative in wrting.
