Michael Faraday is holding a quoit. He was the world champion quoitsman for three years running from 1863 till 1866. He died in 1867 from starvation after being locked up in a cage by his insane cousin Jeff, who went on to invent the Faraday cage three years later. He evaded prosecution but everyone knows he did it.
