Interesting story, as usually sometimes people have funny friends, in childhood they could be imaginary and adults can't really understand it. It is quite a popular topic for stories and movies. You story is very interesting, to see how two different characters became friends and how one tries to convince the other about the good and bad things. Really enjoyed reading, hope they really stay friends :)
Yeah, I really enjoy writing the dynamic between them because they are so different. One is basically a human girl with no special powers, the other is a shapeshifting monster with an already substantial kill count(not that he remembers any of it). Of course, I make no guarantees on them staying friends... Vorpals have an entirely different mindset than humans in this fictional universe.
