A well written story. You've added extra details. Didn't put accent on the shipwreck. Seems pretty legit. However remember that I'm not the jury. They will read and rate it, probably at the beginning of the next week.
Until then you can expect Round 2 being announced on Friday :)
I wanted to reserve the details of the escape, from the room where they consumed their passionate love, to the beach of the Giglio Islands for the second round in the case that the construction technique was to give continuity to the chosen option.
In this mental map, the first was the round story, the second will be the tragic and dramatic details and the third, the full closure of heroism and solidarity beyond the history of love framed by the shipwreck.

I see. You can do it as an independent sequence, because Round 2 will include other types of prompts. Or see if you can't fit somehow within the prompts and still do part II of the first round. We can check if it will be possible together. Just ping me in a comment with your thoughts and decisions.
