It's a cute metaphor. The decision to use 'seed' is also wise and I'm sure you didn't need a lot of time to come up with your choice : )

It is not a stretch for sure. It can be hard to push aside an idea in deference to one that requires more work. There were a few main choices for me but this one developed too easily to stop.
