Congratulations! You've made the right choice in not taking the "easy" way and continuing what's familiar. Making changes in ourselves is hard, really hard. Your conviction is so important to making the change to the real you, imperfect, yet perfect the way you are. My advice is to be compassionate towards yourself, in a big way. When you love yourself you can accept yourself the way you are. Perfection is a myth anyway.
