Party Politics: Ogbia in Retrospect!
Political Parties are models. The specification and determination of these models are orchestrated by a very few persons; political experts. These experts organized themselves in oligopolistic competition political structures.
In determining their Model each elective period, the primary consideration in the choice of their Model(s) is Maximum Profit. This at best has benefited us in private capacity building so far.
It has been so in the several years past in our Democratic journey. The time for a rethink is now!
Those entrusted with the deterministic powers of our political Models should have a rethink in 2019!
Let the primary consideration for a suitable Model(s) be built on Maximum Social Welfare or Benefit, rather than the former! This way, our society can improve in its capacity and enhanced better living.
