RE: Aftermath - Art Prompt Writing Contest #7
The truth can indeed be stranger than fiction. The plight of the person in your post reminds me of the book Atlas Shrugged a 1957 novel by Ayn Rand. I agree with @bitcoinflood what you have written is epic and horrifyingly possible in our own cities and communities. I say horrifying because it has already happened in some parts of the world. Yet some in the U.S. are under an illusion that it can't happen to us. And some have prepared for doomsday and put as much aside as they can to help others. And then there is a percent of us, who only prepared for themselves who are driven by their greed and they don't care what happens to the rest of us. Even this post is a message, a voice crying in the wilderness. We better have a plan. Thank you @ clayboyn for going this route with the prompt shed light on this subject/truth
I'm glad you liked it and the message was clear. We need to do better... all of us... the collective human existence.
