English Songs Can Improve Speaking Students Ability!!

Speaking skill is very important because speaking skill and human being cannot be separated from each other. Speaking skill is used to express their ideas and to communicate to other people.Most students still get hard to be a good speaker. The problems are: the students feels doubt and affraid to speak English. So, they never practice to use target language and always use mother language in the classroom, second for the teacher: they do not use variety of teaching technique such as visual aids. Teacher should be able to make students speak English fluently singing a song training has a profound impact on other skills including speech and language, also even the ability to convey emotions vocally.
It is easier for the students to use their mother tongue in their class because it looks naturally. Therefore, most of the students are not disciplined in using the target language in the learning process. Singing a song can improve speaking skill also pronouncation, vocabulary and fluency by using song may give new atmosphere for the students give them fun and enjoyment. Also to enrich students ability to achieve the best goal.
The song is not just for entertaining but also reinforcing course features such as pronouncation, listening, grammar and vocabulary. Teaching speaking by using songs lyric was interesting and positively affect memory. The song is very specific kind of everyday expression and has been lifestyle of human being. Then song is capable tool of teaching technique in language classroom and its build students motivation to enrich speaking and vocabulary more in daily activity with fun, useful, and meaningful. To make the song is useful in language classroom, teachers have to be creatively in presenting songs to students.
Various media can be used in teaching or learning English. The lyrics of the English song is one of them. Already many modern teachers or lecturers who use the lyrics speak English as one medium to teach English. From the English song we can understand 3 aspects at once, ranging from listening, reading, speaking. When a song is panned then we will guess the words used in the song. The lyrics of the song itself can be used to learn new vocabulary, and students can practice to sing the song as a means of communication English ability
Using popular English songs and well known by students as a learning medium can help stimulate students to "enjoy" in following a lesson. When listening to an English song, most students will focus on the words that are in the song and are moved to memorize it. From the song also they can learn how to pronunciation or pronunciation of the English words that are in the lyrics of the song well and correctly. Besides useful for memorizing new vocabulary, the song can also be a reference how to pronunciation of the proper English word
In addition to the two benefits I have described in the paragraph above, it turns out English songs can also train the ability of English Comprehension premises more effectively. The theme of a song can be understood more easily by students than when trying to understand a text in a book. For some people learning through song lyrics is fun and more effective.

Therefore Learning English songs helps student to improve students listening, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, there by enhancing students speaking skills.
