'tis the time - an original autobiography poem.

There was a time when war was good,

When evil spirits proudly stood.

Corruption, hatred were a norm,

In devastation, this is how,

This tiny heart-shaped land was formed.


There was a time when prima donnas ruled the land,

They spoke in secret words, only a few could understand.

Those few were usually the children of the Kings and Queens,

They thought the secret messages were sent from Gods, it seems.

This is a long time, long time ago,

But 'tis the time, it's when a boy was born.

The Queen and King were this boy's Mom and Dad,

But the boy came to this earth unplanned.

The royal family had two before,

But neither one of them had seen the light of earth.

Because they lost a selfsame pair before,

This boy, to them, meant more than gold.

Ironically, the boy grew up without a name,

The King and Queen had only few ideas proclaimed.

This compilation of inner untruthful names,

Had, in a way, haunted the true identity of the boy, but who to blame.

This is a long time, long time ago,

But 'tis the time, it's when the boy has grown.

This also marks the time when war was just about to calm,

The last day only thirteen soldiers fought.

The boy was brave, he saw it black and white,

He stared for hours as the warriors came crashing dead.

That was supposed to be the new beginning to a happy end,

But suddenly a war came trembling in again.

This time, however, it was from within,

And at the end, the King and Queen had split.

The King and Queen were miles apart, and rumbling sea was in between their hearts.

The boy, however, stayed at peace and strong,

In memory, his ocean deep blue eyes had seen much worse before.

This is the time when the Queen had said "my boy is brave,

It is the perfect time when he deserves a name!"

This is a long time, long time ago,

But 'tis the time, it's when Prince Beverly was born.
