Have you ever thought of doing educational comic books? The NSF is now requiring any scientist they fund to have a "broader impacts" section of s/his application, for the purposes of disseminating the research after it is completed.

I am already a member of that particular project, although no-one has ever contacted me to ask for my neuroscientific assistance. How did you hear about it?
