Most of the benefits, which are taken away consuming, the mangosteen fruit are due to its high content in xanthones potent substances, antiaging, and effective inhibitors of inflammatory processes. Mangosteen can be considered as a superantioxidant against free radicals.

Mangosteen has the particularity of containing a certain number of antibacterial agents, to which xanthones belong equally. These antibacterial agents help the body, fight viral and bacterial attacks, and prevent the onset of fever.

"Purchase and grow mangosteen tree seeds to avoid transporting the tree(s). Use seeds that have been removed from the fruit for up to 5 days. Before you plant the seeds, wrap them in pre-moistened paper towels with cold water. Place it in a container or bag in the refrigerator to continue to keep it cool and moist."
