I'm beginning to hate Jelly already. Why would she do such a thing to a friend? She's going too far.
@michelle.gent I want to ask, how do people get to use so many highsounding words in their books and be comfortable with it? How does one manage to know so many English words? I just finished part 1 of the Mortal instrument and it was full of so many words I haven't heard before. I want to improve my wordbank.
My grandad taught me to read before I started school so I had a head start. Also, because he instilled such a love for reading in me, I read just about everything.
I also like words. At school, one of my teachers taught us how to use a dictionary and I used it - a lot.
If I read a word I don't understand, I look it up. My brain seems to remember them once I've read them, so I'm lucky like that.
You are lucky then. It's not so easy for me.
