PURPOSE AND SUCCESS

Success simply means to achieve the expected. Whenever a fellow achieves what he craves for, the fellow can boldly and gladly say he has achieved success. So, success can be wealth, power, acceptance, likability, degree, state of mind, marriage, fame, respect, high moral standard, philanthropic nature, self-discipline, etc. but for purpose, the success is FULFILLIMENT. Before any purpose driver (a purposeful fellow) can say he has achieved success, the person must be fulfilled in the sense that God confirms his work. If truly it be true that he has achieved the success of fulfillment, other form of success (wealth, fame, state of mind, acceptance, etc.) will be achieved even before he finally says he is fulfilled.
“seest thou a man diligent in his business?
He shall stand before kings; he shall not
Stand before mean men”
(Prov22v29).
From the above scripture, if a man is equally diligent in his purpose, he shall be highly favored. The word diligent means doing what you are told to do (purpose) the way you are told to do it (manner) when you are told to do it (timing). So your purpose requires a certain manner and time consciousness.
It is true that even those who aren’t diligent even those who aren’t diligent with their purpose still achieve success to its fullest. But the clear difference between the success of the diligent and non-diligent is contentment and fulfillment. They both go hand-in-hand. So, for anyone who isn’t diligent can never be contented and by so doing will never be fulfilled. That is why those who live purposefully will in all spheres be better than those who don’t.
