Escaping from Reality has always been a Rewarding Thing
Having a very tight schedule to catch up with all the upcoming appointments, I hardly had this escaping moment from all these stressors lately. Even posting here in steemit, I barely did it. Why? It has been two months in a row that I broke a leg to accomplished everything that I need to finish. That is the main reason that if I have the chance to relax, even for a short time, I would be so grateful to grab it.
In a very crowded city, where all you can see are moving vehicles, busy & hardworking people in the streets, tall buildings and other infrastructures, we sometimes long for a relaxing scenery. Today, I am sharing with you my way of escaping the reality and switch my "RELAXATION MODE -- ON.
I few kilometers away from our house, I visited this particular farm which I consider as one of my favorite hang out place when I wanted to detach myself from the reality of adulting. It is a perfect place for me to unwind and enjoy the happiness in which our mother nature can offer.
I had a long day before we decide to visit the place, so my energy was highly consumed. Upon arrival at the farm, I checked directly the food that they prepare. Then, we had a delicious lunch together to satisfy our cravings and hunger. They had different Filipino foods like Chicken Adobo, Chicken Tinola, Pork Humba, Lechon, Dinuguan, Grilled Fish & Squid, Fish Kinilaw, Eggplant Salad. They also prepared a side dish and desserts like Pancit, sweet potato, banana, rice cakes (Biko, Suman and Bibingka), and fresh coconut juice.
After having a festive lunch, I took the opportunity to walk around and did the usual things that I enjoyed the most.
Fish Pond
First, I checked the pond at the back of the farm where a different variety of Tilapia is cultured. I had a great time watching them play with the water while feeding them with their food. Aside from them, there were also Doves that would like to play with their guests. Their cage located in the middle of the pond.

When everyone was exhausted already, we moved to the game station area. It is also a small hut where you can lie or sit down with the others. You can play with cards, scrabble or Sungka (a game played in a wooden block). There was a wooden swing just beside the hut, whoever losses in every game, would have to swing all the others 10th times. We were all adults, but that time, our childish thing in us just came out from nowhere. We laughed and giggled so loudly.
Cold Spring
It was already in the middle of the afternoon when we decided to take a dip since the heat of summer strikes us already. They had this small swimming pool, with free-flowing water, and the coolness of it was refreshing enough for a sunny afternoon. It was because the source is a cold spring, definitely chilled our spine.
Stilt House
Lastly, after refreshing, it was time for our endless conversation at the stilt house. I was not able to take a photo, but it was my favorite spot in the area. We need to climb an uphill to reach it. Clearly and you can have a good view downhill. We stayed there until golden hour since it was difficult to move downhill at night because it was a bit dark.
I had all my time to enjoy until 9 pm that day, with no attachment from the outside and no gadgets to mind. I felt so relaxed and relieved at that moment from all the stressors that I have.😊

Pilipinong Pilipino talaga ang setting except un lamp hdhe. Pero Pilipino pa rin ba gawa nyan? Mukhang eat all you can ang food. Dapat nagpost ka video mo na bumibirit sa karaoke 😆
Adulting nga namanstressful! It is important indeed to find time kidding lol! Pag may adulting dapat may kidding haha!

Secret na yong 'karaoke birit', @leeart.😂 Super full ng tummy ko that day, hindi lng sa food, pati na rin sa dami ng hangin na nalanghap ko dahil sa kakatawa. Simple lng ang setUP ng lugar pero nakaka tanggal ng stress dahil it feels like HOME, pinoy na pinoy. At ang pinaka gusto ko ay walang disturbance kasi walang signal, sarrrry na lng sa mga hindi ko pinansin that day, VACA MODE eee.😂 And yes, home-made lamp po yan. 😉
Ayos. Mas simple, mas masaya. Ganyan din ako pag nagbakasyon. Walang pansinan haha! Magconcentrate sa vacation dapat. Kakainggit.
Adulting is stressful. So dapat di ka talaga ma disturb when you call for a vacation. Mas gusto ang ganito ka simple na way, mas feel ko si Mother Nature.😊
