The Last Question
as the possibility of quantum computing gets closer, I went back to read this story:

the more I read it since then the more it seems like the beginning of the story started with the invention of the internet, and as the story progresses the Multivac's becomes the blockchain.
once I got to the communication between complete strangers across the universe, I remembered all the people I met on here and other places online who i'll never meet in person, and my eyes started to water
