Appify to Grow - Steemit, Dtube and Dsound
I am carving myself out to be the local (loosely using that term) reviewer, so it is fitting that I review what I have learned about Steemit, Dtube and Dsound.
While Dtube and Dsound are new, and I'm new here on Steemit myself, as an outsider, I believe I have a fresh perspective on this. Aside from approving accounts quicker, if not instantly, the biggest hurdle in the day and age where the smartphone is replacing desktops, we need a dedicated app officially from steemit.
I know that many have probably searched on the app store and found at least one app that is in the early stages of development, but one that comes from the makers of steemit would lend it some star power and more than likely have better development.
If someone can make a post on here like a reddit, why not have an app version that allows people on a mobile phone to easily access, post and trade their steem?
The benefits:
Simple and clean format that caters to a LARGE mobile market
Able to carry around this site in your pocket conveniently, more conveniently than a mobile browser
It has a mainstream appeal that allows people like myself to easily adopt it.

It's coming, HF20 is bringing all kinds of improvements and a mobile app. You'll notice that Steemit is currently in beta. It's aware of the hurdles that need to be overcome and has a large marketing budget ready to go once all the pieces are in place and it's ready to bring on a swath of new users.
Thank you for pointing out the beta status! I was treating this as a full fledged social media blogsite already. Well, I look forward to the what HF20 is bringing to the table :)
