How Letting Go Of Judgement Let's You Embrace The Experience

Sometimes our work is not holding up to our standards and we take the route of self-judgement. Or, even when someone else's work isn't quite up to our own defined standards, we take the route of placing judgement unto them and their work.

I find this to be quite a dysfunctional way of living life. Constantly beating ourselves or someone else up. Because that is what judgement essentially does, hey?

This is the story of the picture you see here. I wasn't satisfied with it and I started judging myself and my work. Instead of seeing it as the creation that I did from a place inside myself called "Self-Expression". Realizing that, yes, especially with new things we learn we will not immediately produce the best of results and creations. But to put ourselves down and discourage ourselves, or others is only going to inhibit, sabotage and rot the experience, learning, expanding and joy that would have been there, experienced by self, if we but decided to not judge ourselves and instead embrace our work, our expression, our creativity and whatever the result, the creation of such is, not letting it define us.

A life without self-judgement and judgement of others is truly something else, something remarkable. I started experiencing glimpses of it in the past 10 years, and more and more by the day. It is like a different, better world and experience that is right here, inside of us. Ready to be 'unleashed', discovered and be part of our inner world if we but allow us to drop, to let-go of the learned tendencies and patterns to judge, and instead express ourselves and our creativity freely. Making sure, that at the center of all self-expression is the will and readiness to learn from everything we do in day to day living and use it to expand and become better individuals.
