belated halloween party

Last November 2 we celebrated our Halloween party in our brgy. Many participated the council only chooses 3 person as the winners. The 2nd prize, 1st prize and the champion. There are adult division and children's edition. I was the one who made their tag line. "Himoon tang kalingawan kining adlaw sa kahadlokan" or we will make this day fun this day of fear. No specific translation in english so it's better than nothing. lol
The prizes are not that big but the enjoyment of everyone as they particapated was priceless. Everyone was afraid and others was enjoyed because of the creativity of each participants. The photo above was the Champion, his costume was a "kapre", a giant paranormal creature who lives in the tree and always have a tobacco. For others it's just a myth but for us here, it's true. Many people see the presence of this creature that's why they had an ideas not just in television but also in the older people there. To make the charcoal won't fade the child put an oil in his body. Actually this kind of costume is hard to remove but it's fine his the champion after all.

Two winners on this spot because judges can't decide who will be the best for the second but for e I think the girl was the best. If you stare on her you will feel afraid especially in darkness. The creativity of this children what amazed me.

The first prize is for the kid who has a creativity of his costume.
A zombie with one eye on it and was stab in the stomach. He won't remove his hand in the bamboo because it will fall. Before announcing the winner they must make the other child be afraid in the basketball court where our party was held. It shouldn't rely just their costume, they must have the facial expression that will make them realistic. Other children didn't participate because they were so afraid of the champion. After the contest the disco started, no need for you to wear costume as long as you participate the party to make it more fun. The party is open to all, no entrance fees and the the table and chairs where you will put your drinks or where you can drink are free. All you need to do is join the party, bring some liquor and dance.
