When Congress adjourns for Memorial Day

Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) objected to a $19.1 Billion dollar relief fund for disaster relief, going back 2.5 years. He objected solely because HE wanted a roll call vote on the day the House recessed for Memorial day, even though the house passed the bill with only the one vote against, this one vote was Chip Roy’s objection. The target States for the disaster relief would go from California all the way to North and South Carolina and all the way down to Puerto Rico not to forget the Central States that are being flooded RIGHT NOW.
“We're not elected to have things pass through consent without debate. We should have had a vigorous debate and we should have a debate about why we're not securing the border and why we're spending money we don't have”. Is his reasoning for this effort to even thwart the President who approved the bill. He even voted to approve the TAX bill increasing funds for his wealthy sponsors and decreasing revenue for our Country.
Not knowing where his mind is at, I can only imagine he was kicked in the head by a Mule when he was a child and like the “Hound” from G.o.T. was denied playing with toys when he was a child. This kind of SPOILED partisan politics has no place in our Government and should be OUTLAWED. When only one member of congress wants to deny the benefits guaranteed victims he MUST BE REPLACED. Chip Roy is as much a criminal as any that has existed in our Country, no less than Jeff Dahlmer was or Ted Bundy (he is certainly on par to kill more people).
