How Stupid can John Bolton be?

That @realdonaldtrump is totally USELESS! drumpf is saying “The mine has Iran written all over it” which is totally false anyway you look at it. The photo of what the WH is saying is the mine on the Kokura Courageous of Japan is indeed a photoshop of the “Play” button from any video editor. So I need to ask, how stupid does John Bolton think the United States citizens are?
Further, the Japanese owners of the Kokura Courageous interviewed the crew who said “I saw 2 flying objects just before the blast” per the Captain of the Boat. The video that the WH is touting as Iran removing an “Un-exploded Limpet Mine” is so blurry there is no verification possible of the object.
If this is an Iranian Coastal patrol boat, called a fast boat (FAIC) where is the armament? If memory serves, there should be 5-7 crew members on board the boat, so why is there 12 people there? Some which are wearing very bulky life vests. Another photo is titled “Photo showing Limpet Mine” which is a photo shop addition of a “Play” button from almost any AV player. Where one arrow indicates, there appears to be blowtorch marks. If, in this photo, a Naval Vessel was close enough to clearly see a mine attached to the hull of a ship, why was there no warning? Also, why is it the triangle shaped object is the only “in focus” object in the photo? This has GOT TO BE yet another effort of John Bolton to show how absolutely inept and stupid he really is.
