It's my birthday today. 오늘은 내 생일이야.

Today is the second time I am spending my birthday still in a lockdown. And I can't help but think about the freedom others are enjoying because of their leaders' quick and effective response.

오늘은 제가 아직 봉쇄 된 상태에서 두 번째 생일입니다. 그리고 리더들의 빠르고 효과적인 대응 덕분에 다른 사람들이 누리는 자유가 부럽습니다.

My expectations are now at an all-time low. I sometimes wonder how it feels to be able to roam around freely, to return home with the notion that tomorrow will be another day to earn a living and put food in the table, to travel to places without compromising one's health and safety, to just live the way people in New Zealand, Australia and South Korea do.

내 기대치는 지금 사상 최저 수준입니다. 수시로 자유롭게 돌아 다닐 수 있고, 내일이 또 다른 날이 될 것이라는 생각으로 집에 돌아가서 생계를 유지하고 식탁에 음식을 올려 놓고, 건강과 안전을 해치지 않고 장소를 여행 할 수 있다는 느낌이 어떤지 궁금합니다. 저는 우리가 뉴질랜드, 호주, 한국 사람들처럼 살기를 바랍니다.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great time today. This too shall pass.
