Stop making new year resolutions; make a new life resolution

One of my favourite story is about a man. This man is walking down a path then finds an egg (An Eagles egg). He takes this egg and put it into the nest of a backyard hen. Soon, the eagle hatches with the chicks and grows up with them.
All it's life, that Eagle did what the Chickens did. It would poke around in the dirt looking for what to eat. It would fly into the air like the Chicken would do, it'd would cluck around.

As time passed, the eagle grew very old. One day, it saw birds flying above it; the birds glided gracefully and majestically through the clouds.
The Eagle wondered what the flying bird was...Oh! That looks like me it thought.
One Chicken responds...Oh! He is the king of all birds, the master of the skies. But we belong to the ground because we just are Chickens.
Don't worry about him, you would never be that.
That Eagle lived and died a Chicken.

EAGLES DON'T TAKE FLIGHT LESSONS FROM CHICKENS

This new year is a time to take a flight.
How long do you want to continue being a Chicken when you are meant to be an Eagle?.
How long do you want to continue portraying that character?
Character is the ability to carry out a resolution long after the excitement of the moment it has passed.

The greatest tragedy is not that people aim too high and miss; rather, people aim too low and hit

It is the cave that you fear that would holds the treasure that you desire.

Forget a new year resolution, make a new life resolution
It is time to go from Mediocre to Meteoric
It is time to go from being counted out to been counted on.
It is time to fly like the Eagle you are and not Cluck like a Chicken you aren't.

ICARUS's STORY

Icarus is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus, the creator of the Labyrinth. Often depicted in art, Icarus and his father attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. Icarus' father warns him first of complacency and then of hubris, asking that he fly neither too low nor too high, so the sea's dampness would not clog his wings or the sun's heat melt them. Icarus ignored his father's instructions not to fly too close to the sun; when the wax in his wings melted he tumbled out of the sky and fell into the sea where he drowned.
There is more to the story as Icarius's Father also cautioned him against flying too low.
He said 'Don't fly too low' or your weight will cause you to plummet on water.

All successful people;men and women alike are dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.
