Ouch. I see what you mean. Still, you are no good to anyone else if you let the stress overwhelm you, my friend. Gotta make for some 'peace time,' no matter what.
Actually, I thrive on stress! Unfortunately this beat up old body can't keep up. I broke my back in 85 (I think that comes up in the next chapter) and for the last 15 or so years I've had to depend on pain killers to remain functional- otherwise I'm bedridden. I live on coffee, cigarettes (I'm trying to quit these) and pain meds.
Have you had the back x-rayed and all that, Rich? No operation would help?
I've had so many x-rays I glow in the dark lol! The docs say that my vertebra are pushed up against the spinal cord and if they try to move them I might wind up paralyzed (50/50). I've got plenty of takers, but I don't like the odds. I was supposed to be in a wheelchair 23 years ago at the outside. I don't figure I'll be around more than a year or two anyway, so it's all good. This life is temporary in the grand scheme of things, so I'm not too worried about it. I'm prepared for the next phase of the Great Adventure!!!
Hmmm...I'm no doctor, but I would hope you've had plenty of "second opinions" just to be sure. I want you to be pain free without paying for pricey pain meds. We need people like you so bad!!
I'm fine, don't worry. God never puts more on you than you can handle. If I die suddenly, it just means that He needs me someplace else. I'll put enough on the blockchain before I go to keep folks busy!
