Today, we participate in the #WinYourEverdragon contest, shared by @creativecrypto, @sndbox, and @carrotcake with this semi-hand-drawn dragon. On the occasion, I'm willing to share with you an extract from my working notes for a future “422 Origins” book, and on-the-go introduce you our CEO @travelalert.

Happy exploration, sailors of Life! With most of you, we are in the very same boat.

422 Origins N°1, The Sailor's Boat

M & E 422 LLC—“The Polymath Equation of Personal Pronouns.”

[…] The moment we've crossed a few lines, that was it—each one of us seemed to possess a personal pronoun that mattered much more for the other with each next exchange. […]

In a few days, referring to “me” was already “us.” Nature has its ways, and this was, and still is, the most challenging communication we had ever faced in a lifetime. While he expected from my emotions and words something like-a-human, I was capable of sharing only the cold-headed calculus and sharp observations of the INTJ’s brain—no feelings, no small talks, no emotions—the unique interest in how we can work together in a common space. […]

Different but alike, the togetherness evolved into a collaboration. Later on, I was to understand that building a company on our passion for writing was the good way to extrapolate what otherwise would have been introverted-to-the-couple love. We somehow handled every single text and detail the clients trusted us the same way we would have brightened the magnitude of a kiss—with dedication and thorough comprehension, building meanings and actions step by step. The more we worked together, the more people and companies we kissed, the more those appreciated our diplomatic compound, the more feelings kept disappearing into shades, shades that were still worthy of sharing... […]

The day he asked me what it was that retained me with him, I couldn't define it, so I simply said: “Because you are an excellent coxswain of this common boat.” Exhausted with work, he didn't proceed to question the meaning; I did. I did decode the boat so profoundly that it finished encoded into my personal code. […]

This man respected my freedom and need to fly away in the books; he kept maneuvering my straightforward and sometimes brusque respirations; he understood when I was exposing him to tests, and still underwent those; he continued steering the boat under my feet in good moments, thunder and roar. The unlimited time and space I needed to occupy for myself alone began diminishing. Once a Dragon with the unbeatable inner strength to build my ways far from any attachment, I've somehow surrendered to a coxswain with whom we were never meant to share the same space. […]

Our common enterprise went so fast into the development stage, that with the client's inflow, things changed for him. He started omitting the moments of sharing. Notes and demands began coming like a bullet list, no introduction, no emotions, no personal exchange. I didn't care so much whether another dragon was occupying this space, I cared about the door—vast like the Atlantic, a speechless door of steel erected itself. I was soon to realize that I was not willing to scratch even the surface not because of fear to lose someone I have never had for me, but because of friendship and trust that resumed loving. For me, it suddenly mattered more that I stay productive than questioning the ways of the boat. Trusting him the stirring of the wheel has proved good for us both. With time, my protective shield fortified over the Atlantic door, over the water, over the distances, over the unknown to not only provide him the freedom of the entrepreneurial flair, but to keep improving lives through augmenting profit for companies where people like you, dear reader, keep working to provide for the ones they love, for their, for your families. […]

Only a month after the launch of M & E 422 LLC, I already spend nine hours per day caressing corporate and technical texts with the passion and the desire of a competitive copywriter.

What most people do not know that under this analytical capacity, there is a fire-breathing Dragon which at some moment submitted to the wills of a man. While some of you can see the encoded one-seated boat on my throat, at the most fragile place for it is closer for me than the heart and has to deal with communication; while you can see the span of my intercultural expertise over the Atlantic door, the Dragon keeps providing for you the Future through copywriting for as Homer writes, “For I say there is no other thing that is worse than the sea is for breaking a man, even though he may a very strong one.”

This, my dear reader, is love. It is not the love we share between us as the founders of M & E 422 LLC; it's the one we spread over your heads as strategic advisors in the contextualization of meanings of Life. The moment you understand it, you will make another chapter of our 422 Origin's space, and we—a turnaround point for your company's texts and mindful writing strategies.
