Shoud drug addicts send to rehab instead of prison???
People who take drugs should not be imprisoned
In society we face a number of problems, one of these problems that causes many other problems is drug-taking. People take drugs to escape from their problems or to relax.....etc. those people are called addicts, the number of addicts are increasing every day. Drug-taking affects people of all ages in all classes. There are different kinds of drugs and every kind has different effect. Drugs affect the body and brain. So, it is important to find an effective way in the fight against drug-taking. Those who taking drugs considered sick people who should go to rehabilitation not to prison.
The rehabilitation centers for drug addiction has the stable environment that can keep any drug addicts away from any kind of temptation while being in safe and secure environment that enable them to be treating at the same time. Addicts people need a help as they are disappointed. Furthermore, some of them find that the suicide is the solution to their situation. So, these people need a completely care in order not to return back to drug-taking again.
In addition, if the addicts send to prison instead of rehabiliation, they will not get better. The health care and support that are provided through out one's stay in the rehabilitation are so important to them, they are sick people who need to be treated early and if they did not treated early, it would be much more difficult for them to recover.
On the other hand, it is bad effictive if these people impirsoned as there are many criminal who sales drugs in the prison and faciliating the operation of taking drugs. After they are released, they will return back to drugs. So, going to prison can not make them stop taking drugs it is not a good choice.
In conclusion, sending addicts to prison is not a good choice. People who take drugs need a help not punishment. They themseves want to change to better and are not happy with this situation they have became. Therefore, we should encourage them and find a way to help them recover by sending them to rehabilitation not to prison.

I agree with you 100% . We need more people to hear this message! Help people become better human beings. Don't send addicts to prison if they haven't stolen or committed a crime other than getting high/ possession.
yes if they are sent to prison, then they will realese and return to drugs. But when they sent to rehabilitation they will be recoverd.
