Puisinya menggarisbawahi tahap-tahap "Jalan Cinta" kaum sufi.

SELEMBAR UNDANGAN ILAHI

Engkau telah diundang untuk menemui Sang Sahabat.
Tak seorang pun mampu menolak Undangan Ilahi.

Hanya dua pilihan tersisa untuk kita sekarang:
Kita penuhi undangan Tuhan
bergegas menari,
Atau
Dibawa di atas usungan
menuju Bangsal-Nya.

KITA MESTI BICARA TENTANG MASALAH INI

Sesosok Makhluk Cantik
hidup dalam liang yang engkau gali.

Ketika malam menjelang
kusebar buah dan benih
dan kupasang bejana-bejana kecil anggur dan susu
di samping gundukan tanahmu yang lembut.

Dan aku sering berkidung.

Tetapi masih saja, duhai sayangku,

ENGLISH

WHO does not know Hafizh in Persian literature. Besides being a Sufi, he was also the most famous poet and loved by poets / poets in Persia (Iran). Hafizh was real name Syamsuddin Muhammad Hafizh (about 1320-1389 AD). For the Persians, his poems are not "classical literature" from a distant past, but are valued wisdom from a beloved intimate friend.

The lyrics of the poem Hafizh flow with extraordinary appreciation of beauty, wealth of life, and the relationship with his God who is very close. Like other Sufis, Hafizh made God a lover. He was willing to accept anything from his Lord gracefully. He has given away his soul, body, and everything that is owned in this world as the property of his Beloved. And he had nothing but a pure obstacle to God, as his lover.

His poem underlines the Sufi's "Path of Love" stages. An adventure of inner disclosure where love exposes personal boundaries and fetters to join the process of greater growth and transformation. Through this process of love, human love becomes the ultimate divine love the lover unites with the source and purpose of all love, which is called Hafizh as a Divine Beloved.

Following this, the author presents two Hafizh poems:

A DIVINE INVITATION

You have been invited to meet the Friend.
No one is able to reject the Divine Invitation.

Only two choices remain for us now:
We fulfill God's invitation
hurry up to dance,
Or
Taken on a stretcher
towards His Ward.

WE MUST TALK ABOUT THIS PROBLEM

Beautiful creatures
live in a hole that you dig.

When night approaches
I spread fruit and seeds
and I put small vessels of wine and milk
next to your soft earth mound.

And I often hold a seat.

But still, duhai my darling,
You do not appear.

I have fallen in love with someone
hidden in your niche.

We have to talk about this problem -
otherwise, I will not leave you alone.

HAFIZH uses several Persian literary tools that might confuse the reader at first. In some poems, Hafizh is like a scriptwriter who plays all the characters: the lover, the student, the teacher and mentor, God's voice, sometimes even the reader. Often I, You, he [male], or he [female], and Hafizh, refer to the same person. []
