THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX

Good morning my dear STEEMIANS! @lablabpaolo here, once again writing about something. . .something out of the box. And that is why today im going to post about what's inside the box. Why do people say 'think outside the box'? Is is really that bad to think inside the box?

I remember someone told me that phrase time and time again and I get to wonder, Is it really wrong to think this way?

Let me define what's that box that they are referring to. That box is what we think as the boundaries of commonality. The usual things like what people always do or react when faced with a specific situation. For example, If tomorrow is your girlfriend's/boyfriend's birthday. What do people usually give? A bouque of flowers? A set of sweet chocolates? Balloons? Or maybe surprise him/her with a party?

This is what is common on our society. And in response, we people expect that we will be given these kinds of stuff loosing a part of the excitement. But if we were to think outside the box...

Example, when we had our first anniversary, Of course present were expected from each other. Me as a thinker inside the box gave her flowers blah blah blah and that's it. Later when i asked her, she answered she already expected those. But she who thought outside the box surprised me big time! She gave me a box of briefs, but wait there's more! She wrote these on each on the brief: Phem's property. And me, who was not expecting anything like that was very shocked and laughed all through out the day!

And experiencing it first hand, I wont ever forget it for the rest of my life!

Thus,

When we do something 'out of the box', people who receive it will think that we took extra effort for them.
When we do something 'out of the box', people who receive it will feel extra special.
When we do something 'out of the box', people who receive it will experience first times, and we all know first times are.
When we do something 'out of the box', people who see it will be inspired to think the same way because it gives extra to the common.
When we do something 'out of the box', we stand out from the rest!

There is nothing wrong thinking 'inside the box', sometimes it is even practical to react this way because you already have an immediate response. It is proven and tested. You will more or less get what you expected as an output because of it. And it saves you time, more convenient and easier to execute.

That is why OUR challenge today is to how we do something outside from the norm. And because of that the ultimate reason I wrote this is that

We STEEMIANS are encouraged to think outside the box!

This community already has lots and lots and lots and lots of writers, bloggers, poets, photographers and many more that gives us good contents every single day.

But my fellow STEEMIANS, what are we gonna do to stand out from the rest? Shine in the middle sea, and lead the pack.

I hope my dear friends you learned something from this. I hope that on our next posts, it will the out-of-the-box post that will create ideas and help our fellow STEEMIANS, may it be small or big.

I really commend those STEEMIANS that uses our community to help others. Would like to mention @asbonclz who is currently having a plan to launch a chess tournament that would benefit others. And @iamkuyaj as well as @surpassinggoogle that dreams to make our community bigger. And many more aspiring people.
These are the types of thinking that I dream of having someday.

And this starts now.
