Stopping my Power-Down in a Few Hours!
As some of you may have noticed over the past month I've been powering down my Steem Power. Today marks the 4th in a row and after it's complete I'll be cancelling it and not powering down anytime soon in the foreseeable future. Let it be known that I am NOT exiting the STEEM network and my reasoning behind the power-down was to ensure I had enough funding to once again move to a new place.
It's been a stressful past month and as much as I'd like to say it hasn't effected my work or mental health it certainly has. Somewhere between run-down and uncomfortable is my current frame of mind. What it leaves is much room for improvement not only in my day to day but also in how fast I can code, test and launch my planned services for STEEM. Moving twice back to back within 2 months isn't something I'd wish on my most heinous rival.
Stopping the Power-Down
I haven't been posting as much lately as I like nor getting the work that I'd hoped done completed. It's amazing how looming stresses of uncertainty have such a dire effect on my psyche. However rather than continue my power down in hopes that enough money can solve my problems I've decided to stop powering down.. Why? Because it's a lot harder to get STEEM than it was before the last hardfork and I'd love to have a respectable holding if possible in the future just for sheer speculation value alone.
I think I have enough fiat to move to another place. Just waiting on word back from a few places I'd looked at recently to see if I do infact have a place to move come the end of the month. I will keep everyone updated. Not giving up, it's not an option. Will STEEM on!

I will "get back on the horse" keep riding and go on to meet my goals. I owe it to STEEM.

Eh! my Canadian brother, move to southern Ontario past Toronto where the weather is the warmest in Canada and rent / housing is the cheapest. Hope things get better for you.... Steem on.

Part of me has the fear of moving away from everything I know again. I tried going out west almost a decade ago and didn't flourish very well out there.

Maybe you should head down to South East Asia, food is cheap and you'll definitely find an accommodation for a reasonable price. Heck come to Penang for Affordable Healthcare, if you're looking for cheap yet good lifestyle, south Asia countries like Malaysia & Thailand would be perfect for you!

Really? Oh god, that's horrible. Move to the Netherlands, many houses here! We even have one about to go for sale and hoping it'll sell fast enough :/

Okay, that's not entirely fair, I live further up north, where there's actually some forests and beautiful nature with some peace and quiet aswell.
My brother's girlfriend actually moved here from Sweden, because she liked this country more. I could not understand that. When we went to visit her in Sweden, it was all so beautiful and... well... not flat. I guess it's what you're used to :-)
Hahahah. I live in central Canada currently and it's basically just fields and flat as far as one can see. I've never really set the goal to move to another country.
There are the odd bits of trees here. But for the most part it's flat here too.
One day I'll make it out that way. If not to live just to visit. Too much of the world I have left to see.
Oh yes, definitely much to see. I want to visit Canada some day aswell. Maybe combine it with America or something. But that's all far away into the future :-)

How do you stop/cancel a power down?
Click your Steem Power amount in your wallet and look for "cancel Power Down" or something similar.
