The Scarlet Rose

A solitary rose,
cast upon my grave.
Scarlet in color,
charcoal lined.
Sorrow destroys this child of nature,
as despair destroyed myself.
For who am I but
Mother Nature's kin.
You stand above us.
Droplets of silver lined feelings,
scream throughout the transparent air.
Crashing upon the newly disrupted rock.
Life giving once again,
It's purpose regained.
Intense emotions displayed.
Infinitively laced
within the profile of
A Solitary Rose.
