Keep in touch and stay connected.- Keeping in touch with friends, family and acquaintances helps a long way to get the mind set towards being truly alive to initiate meaningful and long-lasting relationships. We are too busy these days and we will continually be busy in whatever it is we find our hands to do and this is just letting us know we will never have the time to keep in touch.
When you started out on Steemit, you may have met couple of individuals who by now have stopped being your friends, not because they are bad but because, but you simply outgrew them by not keeping in touch.Maintain close knit relationship with people.- To be able to find people to trust you, you must first put things on track and find people you can trust to take your words for what they are. Find people who you can trust and who you enjoy talking to, share good times and bad times. This is a vital move in order to maintaining self confidence and being able to set out to do something and accomplish it.
Invest less in the gossip of others.- If you visit the hospitals, you will always see women gossiping themselves. You will see them in Saloons, marker places, schools, homes and social gathering.
Long-lasting relationship means, you must be willing to commit full time. You must be able first to give to the community or society so that whatever damage is being programmed for it should be a guard against it.
This is the beginning of 2018 and I can assure you that you will be the better for it should you handle the most important stuffs as they happen. .

Commitment is key to success in every endeavour in life and steemit is not and exception. Consistency, quality and devotion are rewarded here on steemit, so I found out personally.
Totally right about the drama part. Which is why I try not to visit the default trending tab often
