You can edit indefinitely now, It has changed I believe on steemit.com (might be wrong) and also you can edit with Steempeak after payout (for sure) :)

If you use Steempeak, you'll want to login, go to
Profileat the top, browse to the post and hit the3-dot menu, andEdit:)
