Hi @timoshey & @feekayo, Great Initiative. But I would like to get an insight on revenue model. On steem blockchain, rewards are paid out after 7 days of a post but some books may take longer even to complete? Moreover books will gain exposure over time. People who read or upvote the post beyond 7 days period won't affect the rewards. Will the rewards be on upvote basis as all other posts or would more read books be given incentive?
We have a feature in the pipeline called book locking... Which means that once you're done publishing your book on dbooks you can lock your book from public viewing. Then people would have to pay a rental fee set by the writer to access said content.
Of course the content would still be available for free on steemit but would lack the organization and ease of read we offer
