Random Thoughts: Twin Cups
On top of a hill, a cottage I see.
A sole roof, black glass windows too.
We walk the path going to the cottage,
I took the courage with heavy weight on my back,
For we will be staying here for two nights.
Its walls were made of plaited bamboo.
Doubled but with a semi-concrete floor.
The doors were of the same kind,
The windows doubled too with screens to shoo away mosquitos.
Reaching the second floor, we went to the terrace right away,
Amazed with the sea view and the mountains of that opposite side.
We had to celebrate the heaven's goodness for this life.
Twin cups with cold treats made our afternoon complete.

This is soo sweet and relaxing to read. It reminded me so much of that beautiful cottage on the hill you went to somewhere in Sipalay (if I remember correctly) in Negros.
Ganyan na ba ang bagong coffee with ice cream? Kasama papel? haha!
