The Capibaribe River is present in practically all my photos and really the presence of him here in my city is practically impossible to be passed unseen. This river is the main of my city. In Recife many centuries ago served as a great navigational point to transport food, clothing and raw materials of production for the people of these times, besides being a great source of income for fishermen that until today, even with the river In its largely polluted part, maintains its tradition of fishing and it is from the river that they have what is necessary to survive.

Today despite the great environmental problems that haunt its beauty and magnificence perceived by all those who visit Recife, this river is a very poetic place, romantic and that is source of inspiration for all that walk along its margin, see from the other side of the river the historic and old houses of a very old Recife, with its history quite told in the history books. Even those born here like me it is impossible to get to the center of the city and not marvel every day with this landscape.

This is the Capibaribe River, which despite all the environmental problems it recently faces as pollution, nothing can shake its grandeur and beauty that are its greatest qualities.
